Salviros

Origin : No one exactly knows, who created Salviros. She, or he, has to have a creator, because of the fact, that it is the only Salviros in this world and it’s completely genderless. Some say, that it is a corpse of elven priestess, killed during the War of Tears by Human’s Alliance soldiers. She was desecreated, skinned and thrown to the depths of the ocean. Elven gods took mercy on her poor soul and resurrected her, turning her boneless body into weird, monstrous creature. The ones, who still consider elves as a threat say, that the priestess was actually an evil, elven with, who haunted fishermen on northern waters, even after her death. Finally, there is a group of people, who consider Salviros as a very old spectre of the sea, older than nayadas or sirens. This demigod possesses supposedly great knowledge and it shares it with adventurers who want to honor his divines.

Where it lives : Beaches and caves of northern islands

What it does: It is said, that Salviros is a wise and intelligent creature. Only this thing can count all fish in the water, and, without use of magic, it can predict movement of sea currents. Also, it can possess knowledge of the sailors weight, name and stories of their lives, but only, if they swam above it. If you worship Salviros by calling its name in the middle of the night on the seashore, it will arrive. When its emotionless face will appear above waves, stay silent. You should provide it a gift, something, what Salviros would consider precious. Nobody knows, what are its likes and dislikes, so be careful. If Salviros accepts your gift, you can give it a letter with question and it will answer it with its deep, tingling voice. Then it will go back into the depths of the ocean.
